How do European companies implement whistleblower protection?
The EU member states have all transposed the EU Whistleblowing Directive into national law. But how do European companies implement these legal requirements?
For the second year in a row, EQS Group conducted its major whistleblowing survey, asking more than 700 compliance officers from over 20 EU countries. The participants represented a wide range of company sizes, from small and medium-sized enterprises to large companies. The majority of participants (almost 60%) are based in Germany, Italy, France and Spain.
The aim of our Whistleblowing Survey 2024 was to understand how companies are dealing with the requirements of the new whistleblower protection laws and how well prepared they are for the compliance challenges ahead.
